The Dwyer Ranch located in the Eastern Sandhills near Bartlett, Nebraska is home to Garrett, Jenn Dwyer and their family of three. The ranch was established in 1894 and Garrett is 5th generation to take the reins. They are known for producing quality F1 Hereford - Angus cross calves with the advantage of providing the ultimate hybrid vigor for the calves from the time they hit the ground to weaning. The cows are moderated framed, easy fleshing, exceptional udder quality and produce more calves because of the matching of the Hereford and Angus genetics. A mature cow will weigh 1250 lbs and wean off a 500-600 lb calf at weaning. The Dwyer's would like to offer up two groups of F1 - 3/4 Angus-Hereford baldy replacement heifers. These heifers have been hand picked from the top of their heifer crop and will ultimately make a great set of females for any commercial cattle operation. Please take a look, your welcome to contact Garrett and stop by to look at the calves prior to sale day.
