10) Blk Angus SM Bred Cows (BID PER HEAD), Qty 10 Head, Actual Weight: 1125-1150, 4J Cattle Inc Is Offering A Uniform, Extremely Docile Group Of Solid Mouth Bred Cows. These Females Are Being Offered Up Due To The Extreme Drought Conditions They Are Currently In. The Pharo Cattle Philosophy Is Focused On Producing Cows That Work For The Environment, Low Maintenance - Low Input Cows. The Motto Fits The 4J Cattle Inc Perfectly. These Females Have Spent Their Lives Grazing As Much As They Can, Starting In The Spring They Are Turned Out On Crested Wheat Grass To Flesh Up. They Then Are Moved To CRP And Pastures For Grazing. Winter Diet Consists Of CRP Hay And Alfalfa Bales. The Have Been On A Free Choice Salt And Mineral Program. 4J Cattle Has A Very Strict Selection Process Based On Docility, Thickness, And Fleshing Ability. All Females Are Bull Bred To Pharo Cattle Company Bulls. (Sons Of Scat 1000, Billy Beral, Low Input, HPH T-6, Austin Plato X-3) These Females Were Preg Checked By Dr. Gary Scheiber Of High Plains Vet And Poured With Ivermax On March 29th With A Due Date Of May 17th- June 30th. Prior To Breeding They Received A Preg Guard Shot. Bangs Vaccinated. Electric Fence Broke. Trailed Many Times And Miles. 4J Cattle Inc has been ranching north of Sidney, MT for many generations. Since 2006, they have exclusively used Pharo Cattle Company genetics in their herd. 4J Cattle Inc is offering a uniform, extremely docile group of 30 bred cows. They will be split into 3 lots. (10 head of 3YO – 10 head of 4YO – 10 head of SM Cows). The Pharo Cattle Philosophy is focused on producing cows that work for the environment, low maintenance - low input cows. While everyone else is focused on increasing pounds per cow (bragging rights), Pharo Cattle Company has always been focused on increasing pounds per acre (profit). Most cow-calf producers struggle to make a decent living because they are focused on the wrong thing. It is much more profitable to produce cows that fit your environment than it is to artificially change your environment with expensive inputs to fit your cows.
