    158.34 Acres Reno County, Kansas
    Selling At
    UNRESERVED ONLINE AUCTION
    Thursday, April 4, 2019
Bidding opens March 14th and ends April 4th at 10:00 AM

This level quarter of grass is carried by FSA as 158.34 acres. It has a 1.5 acre headquarter site in the southeast corner leaving 156.84 acres for grazing. 126.25 acres of this quarter was once farmed and is still carried as cropland by FSA. It has a 116.69 acre wheat base with a 28 bushel payment yield. This base can be enrolled in FSA farm programs for payment without the need to cultivate it. The quarter has been used for livestock grazing since the mid 1980’s. The predominate soil is Darlow-Elmer complex 0-2% slope. Past tenants have used electric fencing as the acreage is not fenced. Livestock and wildlife habitat water is provided by Salt Creek flowing through the property and by a spring fed pond in the northeast corner. The headquarter site has a good 40 x 96 metal building with dirt floor, sliding doors on the east & south sides and electrical service. There are two 3,200-bushel grain bins. The property has superior access with full paved 4th Street frontage on the south and Andre Road on the east. This is an excellent livestock grazing, hunting or home site property.
