One of the longest standing partners of Colorado FFA Foundation, American AgCredit has donated their restored 1950 Chevrolet pickup “Aggie” and a 2012 Sharp enclosed trailer to the Colorado FFA Foundation to be auctioned off to the highest bidder(s) in an effort to raise funds to support the mission of the foundation. The Colorado FFA Foundation will use funds from the sale of this rare five window truck to support the final acquisition of a working farm and begin offering Immersive Agricultural Experiences at the farm to engage with non-agriculturally based youth organizations. Proceeds will also help support the Colorado FFA Officer team with their unique collaborative living experience in Denver at the National Western Complex in the Colorado State University “Vida” Building. This is a one of a kind experience where officers can live on site, conduct the work of the organization, and interact daily with attendees in an urban setting about all types of agriculture.
