Seller Story

Mark and Dianne Heil started Mark Heil Harvesting in 1974. They raised their four children in the custom grain harvesting business, traveling as a family to follow the harvest from Texas to Nebraska each year. Eventually their son Bradley and daughter Tara joined Mark and Dianne in the business, which became Heil Harvesting, LLC. The operation expanded to include custom swathing. Brad excelled in his role as the Heil Harvesting, LLC operations manager, but his career and life were cut short by an accident during corn harvest in November 2021. Bradley leaves a legacy as a top-notch mechanic and operator who especially enjoyed the financial aspects and interpersonal relationships of the harvesting business. He was a master networker with dear friends across the country, but he was first and foremost a devoted family man, leaving behind his wife, Lauren, and their children: a 2-year-old daughter and a son born in March 2022. Brad's death has prompted the Heil's to retire from the custom grain harvesting business, though Mark, Dianne and Tara will continue the custom swathing work. The sale of the Heil Harvesting LLC grain harvesting equipment fleet will help ensure Brad's family's financial security for years to come.
