We Will Have 34 Red Angus Heifers Be Split Into 7 Groups By Gate Cut. (5 Head – 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 – 4). These High Percentage Reds Are All Sired Out Of Pharo Genetics. Usually S Bar Cattle Retains All Of His Open Females, But With Drought Conditions And Age He Is Moving This Group Along To A New Herd. Heifers Born In Sept. – Oct. Of 2021. Weighing In Range From 550lbs-650lbs. These Females Are All Out On Fescue Pasture And Receive 3lbs/day Of Commodity Mix Grain. Receive Purina Wind And Rain Mineral. All Are Guaranteed Open. An outstanding offering of 52 Red Angus and Black Angus Open Fall Heifers from Missouri. S Bar Cattle decided to make the change into compact, moderate with easy fleshing ability cows about 15 years ago from Dusty Schaaf that has been utilizing Pharo genetics for decades. Over the years he has been focused on moderate, calving ease bulls to sire his offspring (Frame Score 5 or less). While in return having high efficient calves to bring pounds to the scale at weaning. The herd ranges from 1000-1200lb cows that work for him with easy conditioning and high fertility. No cow receives grain or supplementation after 2 years of age. This is a phenomenal opportunity to receive high quality genetics that usually is retained into a closed herd.
