BLK Spring Bred Cows (April Calving) (BID PER HEAD), Qty 10 Head, Actual Weight: 1250lbs, Klitz Cattle Is Offering 69 Spring Bred Females That Are Ranging From 3 – 6 Year Old Cows In West Point, NE. These Females Are Well-balanced, Sound Moving, Easy-keeping Females. They Originated Out Of North Dakota, And Were Moved South From A Dispersal Created From Drought Conditions. (Every Cow Weaned Off A Calf At An Average Weight Of 500lbs That Were March Borns. These Females Were Bull Bred To High Performance Angus Bulls. 40 Hd (Red Tag) – Calving April 7th-April 27th. 16 Hd(White Tag)- Calving April 28th-May 17th. 13 Hd(Orange Tag) Calving May 18th-June 18th. All Females Were Ultrasound Preg Checked And Poured w/ Noromectin On October 15th. We Will Be Doing Gate Cut For Each Calving Interval. April( 10 Hd- 10 Hd-10 Hd-10 Hd) May(8 Hd – 8 Hd) June(7 Hd – 6 Hd). Cows Were Dry Lotted Through The Summer Then Transitioned To Corn Stalks w/ High Roughage Supplementation On The Side To Ensure Proper Conditioning.
