After 62 crop years and the 85th candle going on the birthday cake this year Wayne has decided to retire completely from his farming operation. Wayne served in the Army, 82nd Airborne, until 1960. After his time in the Army Wayne then started farming with his dad on their family farm. Wayne raised a family on a core 600 acres of farm ground including a small hog operation and cow/calf herd. Wayne was loyal to Case IH being the first owner on most of his equipment. Carl's in Thayer, KS was his go to for all genuine Case equipment, Case parts, maintenance, oil, and filters.
