Seller Story

Black Charolais is having a complete dispersion of the cow herd after 50+ years in the business. Robert's grandfather brought over their first group of registered Charolais from France in the early 50's. In the 70's Robert took over and began focusing on an intense A.I. program for 50 years using some of the leading sires in the industry from Oakdale Duke, Eliminator, Wyoming Wind, Full Throttle, Sir Prince and Cardinal's Lad. Robert's passion found a niche for developing bulls that were easy calving, yet did not sacrifice growth and performance. Black Charolais was recognized as one of the leaders in the industry for improving bw extremes and overall performance traits. Robert Black sold all of the older bred cows and is offering up an outstanding set of young bred females, open heifers and 1 herd bull. Welcome to the Black Charolais dispersion and feel free to contact Robert or Pat with questions.
