11) Blk-Rd-Char Open Replacement Heifers (BID PER HEAD), Qty 11 Head, Here's A Really Uniform Set Of Replacement Quality Heifers Coming From Bent Creek Farms. They Have Spent Decades Developing A Maternal Female That Is Able To Adapt To The Environment And Forage On The Resources Available. Using PCC Genetics For Many Years These Heifers Are Developed As Low Input, Low Maintenance Females With Great Mothering Ability. They Rotate Cows/calves Every Day So They Are Hot Wire Broke, Very Docile And Use To Working With People On Foot. The Heifers Were Born, March-April Weighing Approximately 540-560 Lbs. And Expect To Have A 1100 Lb. Female At Maturity. They Have Been Given All Their Calf Shots And A Booster In November. They Will Need To Be Picked Up With 7-10 Days Of The Sale. Seller Story

Bent Creek Farms is located in the rolling grasslands of Southern Virginia. The fishers have invested in building a self-sufficient cow herd creating functional, highly fertile females and feeder calves that are finished and marketed in the grass-fed market. They have incorporated Pharo genetics to emphasize on low input, low maintenance cattle that work for a living in the environment they are raised in. Each year they market a top-end cut of replacement quality heifer calves and have repeat buyers across the Southeast part of the country and the PCC customer base.
