Agricultural Production Enterprises, Inc has ranches in the Southern Gulf Region running a black and red angus Pharo influenced cow herd. Today they are offering up a really good set of blk hided 4-5 YO Fall Bred Cows as they shift to more of a Red hided cow program. These females are in the prime of their life and will be calving 9/1 - 10/30 of this fall. The Pharo Cattle Philosophy is based around producing cows that work for the environment not the Ranch changing the environment to fit the cow. A cow should support the ranch, not be supported by the ranch as Mr Kit Pharo would say. Many times this means producing a smaller frame cow that can take in less feed inputs yet produce a strong healthy calf that weans off every year. The calves may be lighter than an avg calf but we are producing more calves and overall more pounds by intense grazing and managing what the Ranch offers.Disclaimer
