    Bidding opens February 8,2024, and ends February 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

     

    Description: This pivot irrigated farm is in a great location as it is ½ mile off Hwy 281 with access on two sides by a well-maintained gravel road and is close to local markets. There are three wells on the farm. One at the pivot point for the pivot, one in the northwest, and one in the southwest that provide gravity irrigation. Two are electric and the northwest one is currently powered by a propane power unit that belongs to the tenant and does not sell with the farm. There is gravity irrigation pipe that goes with the farm. The tenant was using his own gravity pipe and trailers, so those items do not sell with the farm. The Tenant also owns the Ag Sense System on the pivot and chemigation tank, fittings and hoses. There is an 8-tower Valley 8000 center pivot that was installed in late 2011 for use in 2012. The center pivot and underground wire were designed to easily adapt a corner arm that would enhance the productivity and efficiency of the irrigated farm.  It has 11.2 x 38 tires on the outer 4 drive units for the heavy soils in the southwest part of the farm. The pivot is equipped with auto-reverse stop hardware on the end tower. The sprinkler package consists of Senninger low angle impact sprinklers operating with 25 psi regulators and setup for 850 GPM. It has a Nelson SR100 end gun. There is a newer 60 hp electric motor in place. The pump was totally refurbished in 2013 for $9,200 in repairs performed. Total acres irrigated under the pivot and end gun are 121.7 acres. There are 17.3 acres of gravity irrigated and dry crop ground combined. According to the Central Platte NRD there are 145.36 irrigatable acres on the farm. There is a drainage ditch that drains into two man-made ponds that run towards the southeast. The farm was in soybeans for the 2023 season and the southeast corners are in native grass. There are two approximately 10,000-bushel capacity grain bins and a 120’ by 60’ pole building in the southwest corner. West of that is an acreage and home that are not part of this sale.
