    Description: This is one of the finest quarters of dry cropland available in Finney County, KS. It’s 99.2% ‘Prime’ according to the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). It’s 88.4% Spearville silty clay loam 0 to 1% slope and 10.8% Richfield silt loam 1 to 3% slope. It’s located between the Richfield-Ulysses and the Spearville-Harney soil associations in the central Finney County panhandle. These soils are fertile and well drained, with a high moisture holding capacity.  This quarter is planted to milo for harvest in 2025. The seller retains the owners 1/3 share of the 2025 milo crop.

     

    Crops produced are shared 2/3 tenant and 1/3 landowner in a verbal, year to year lease.   The buyer of this tract will need to give the tenants a written notice of termination 30 days prior to March 1, 2026, or the existing verbal lease continues for another year.
