    Description:  Here is your chance to purchase a farm in an area where land rarely changes hands. These 150 acres of pivot irrigated cropland are located just southwest of Big Springs. There is a 6 tower Zimmatic pivot with an extra-long overhang. The well is located along the south side of the farm, and there is an irrigation canal running through it. There are also turn outs on the south end for furrow irrigating the corners that the pivot misses.


    Note: There is an approximate 3 acre water retention pond on the north side of canal and an approximate 1 acre water retention pond on the south side of the canal that the South Platte NRD has an easement on. 

    If the NRD uses the pond then they have historically paid the landowner for it.

    BigIron Realty Agents will be at the Village Office, in Big Springs, NE, from 9:00 a.m. until the conclusion of the online auction. Please come during the times scheduled to discuss the farm. BigIron Realty Representatives will assist buyers with registering to bid online. You do not have to be present to bid online, but you must be available by phone.

     

    BIDDING PROCESS: You may place bids on this farm for 14 days beginning December 5, 2023, ending December 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.  This unreserved online auction features bidding extensions. If a bid is received within five minutes of the scheduled close time, the bidding period is automatically extended to five minutes. This will continue until there is a five-minute period where no bids are placed. NOTE: Do not wait until the day the auction closes to register to bid online. All bidders must be approved to bid, so register at least 24 hours prior to the auction close or call800-887-8625 for assistance.

     

    Legal Description:  The SE ¼ of Section 10-12-42 Deuel County, NE, containing 152.01+/- acres.

    Land Location:  From Big Springs travel 2 miles south on road 209, then go west 1 ¼ miles on road 4 until the junction with road 207. The farm lies northwest of the junction.
