156) 890 Lbs 85% Angus Blk - Baldy Cross / 15% Red Angus (BID PER LB), Qty 156 Head, Here's A Really Powerful Set Of Yearling Heifers With Most Blks Home Raised And The Baldys- Red Angus Purchased Locally In The Lexington, NE And Surrounding Area. The Home Raised Calves Are Out Of Some Power House Bull Genetics Going Back To Baldridge Colonel, Powerhouse And Basin Payweight. These Females Were Slowly Developed On A Roughage Ration This Past Winter And Sent To Native Sandhills Grass Early This Summer. An Estimated Wt. Was Taken When Shipped Out To Grass And A Base Wt. Was Established At 890 Lbs. With A Total Wt. Of 138,840 Lbs. For 3 Loads With A Delivery Period Of 9/10 - 9/15. They Were Vaccinated This Spring And Poured (see Checklist Above). Seller Story

The Blevin's family ranches in the central Sandhills North of North Platte, NE near Stapleton. They have spent decades building a balanced Angus cow-herd with the investment of top-end bulls from the likes of Baldridge - Colonel, Powertool to Basin Payweight in recent years. Each year they market replacement quality females and the steers will be marketed topping the local sales. The younger set of steers & heifers are held back and run as yearlings taking advantage of the surplus of native range in their region. They will purchase an additional load of calves to add to their program from local ranches in the Kearney-Lexington-North Platte area. This summer they are offering up an outstanding set of yearling heifers.
