Seller Story

After a farming career that started in 1988, Tom and Jean Peeters have made the decision to retire. Tom and Jean bought their farm from Tom's dad, and milked approximately 50 dairy cows until 2008. After the cows were sold, Tom went off worked as a salesman for the local ag cooperative. Tom and Jean continued to farm corn and beans on their acreage, and this year is the last crop. Tom is also soon retiring from the coop, and with three daughters out of the house, Tom and Jean will get to do some traveling that is long overdue. Tom has kept a fine lineup of equipment in top shape, if a piece needed something fixed, it got fixed. Most of the equipment is being stored indoors until the end of the auction, just like Tom has done all these years.
