The Viher Family is a 5th generation ranching family with deep roots in the Hereford business. Since their beginning they have invested in premium bloodlines from the likes of Imig Herefords, Baker Herefords in the early years to Harrell Herefords, VanNewkirk and Jameson Herefords. They focus on maternal traits with an emphasis on a well balanced female that is sound - good footed to withstand the diverse terrain. They stress the importance of fertility and breed back of their 2nd calf females to udder placement and milking capacity. Last but not least is disposition and mothering ability as if they do not mother up and take care of their calf they are gone. With the ongoing drought it is no fault of their own but the Viher's family would like to offer up an opportunity at several different age groups of female pairs and replacements to ease the pressure on their own grass.
