Seller Story
Timber Ridge Angus selects the bulls by their ability to perform. We have right at 100 head of cows and only selected 10 head to sell. We cull hard for ability to perform, disposition (Don’t need to deal with wild/mean bulls), and overall to perform for the customers that purchase these bulls. We do not creep feed until the first week in August. Our calves take about two weeks to truly get into the creep feed. The ability for these calves to perform need to be done by the work of the cow and her ability to raise a big strong calf to sell. The rest of the calves were sold on November 15th and all the steer calves averaged 716 lbs. and the all the heifers averaged 588 lbs. Majority of our calves are born in March and the first part of April. These bulls will add weaning weight, add yearling weight, with a moderate sized calf. These bulls are bred to perform in my herd as well as yours. We stand by our bulls and will guarantee these bulls for the 1st breeding season up to September 1st, 2022. Bulls will be held until May 1st. then delivery or pickup will be available for the first two weeks of May. We will deliver up to a 100 mile radius of the farm (Newcastle) or if a volume buyer over five head, will deliver up to 300 mile radius.
