    Tract 1: 80.03+/-Acres

    Description: This 80.03+/- acres is 96.2% ‘Prime’ cropland located in the highly desirable ‘Farnum-Naron’ soil association. It has deep, nearly level to undulating loamy soils. This soil association lays southeast to northwest through central Reno County, narrowing into a 3 to 5-mile wide vein approximately 5 miles west of Nickerson, where this land is located.  It’s in 2022 soybean and milo stubble, ready for 2023 farm operations. Possession passes to the buyer at closing on or before May 25, 2023.  Lime was applied in the last two years. There is no expense to the buyer for the carry-over lime. The land is bordered on the west by Bone Springs Road, and a quarter mile south is 69th Avenue running east and west. Grain delivery is 1.5 miles northeast to paved Hwy 96, then 4 miles north to Sterling, KS, or 5 miles east to Nickerson, KS.

    BIDDING PROCESS: You may place bids on this farm for 14 days beginning April 11, 2023, and ending April 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. This unreserved online auction features bidding extensions. If a bid is received within five minutes of the scheduled close time, the bidding period is automatically extended to five minutes. This will continue until there is a five-minute period where no bids are placed. NOTE: Do not wait until the day the auction closes to register to bid online.
