Welcome cattle producers, Simmental enthusiasts, friends, and family to our first annual online bull sale. Thank you for this opportunity to serve you with this set of bulls with breed leading genetics. Y-R Simmentals is located in South Central Nebraska. We are a row crop/cow calf operation. I am the 4th generation to carry on the Y-R brand. We have been raising Simmental and Simangus cattle for the last 20 years and selling bulls for the last 10 years. My wife Amy works in ag finance and helps keep me inline and our operation organized! Over the last couple years Amy and I have really been focused on building cattle with growth, performance, and strengthening our AI/ET program. We put a lot of time and effort into our breeding decisions to ensure strong EPD profiles and cattle that will work in any operation. The bulls being offered are the result of sire selection that focuses on structural soundness, elite performance, and eye appeal. Whether you are a commercial or seedstock operation, we have a tremendous lineup of future herd sires that will fit any program. We have not been pushing these bulls on feed to prepare them for breeding season and grass. These bulls have been fed a low starch diet to ensure longevity and sound feet and legs. The bulls will be available for viewing anytime at the farm. Please don’t hesitate to stop by before for the sale, somebody is always around. These bulls have been registered with the Simmental Association and will be semen tested by sale day. All bulls selling regardless of price will be fully guaranteed for the first breeding season against injury or death.
