Seller Story
A Lifetime of Dedication: The Legacy of LarryBorn in 1936, Larry’s life was rooted in the land. After serving proudly in the U.S. Air Force until 1959, he returned home to farm alongside his father, starting with a wire planter and a team of horses. As agriculture evolved, so did Larry—embracing new technology, eventually operating equipment equipped with GPS guidance and auto-steer.
Larry was known for his unmatched attention to his crops. In 1964, he earned his pilot's license, not just to fly—but to gain a bird’s-eye view of his fields. He often shared that view, offering local farmers a lift to inspect their own land from above.
In addition to row crops, Larry operated a fully functional dairy farm, pouring just as much heart and hard work into his herd as he did his fields.
Larry passed away on September 28, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of innovation, stewardship, and deep-rooted commitment to agriculture. His equipment reflects a lifetime of care and a passion for doing things the right way.
